Mobilizing Christians in Georgia and in 2021

The future of the U.S Senate hinges on the Georgia run-off Senate elections scheduled for January 5, 2021.

Groups from both sides of the aisle are doing all they can to secure victory for their candidates. The results will monumentally impact which political agenda will lead the country.

Our mission at My Faith Votes remains the same. We believe the best hope for biblical values to be advanced in these elections is for Christians to vote.

My Faith Votes is taking the lead in coordinating a coalition of Christian organizations to execute a massive “Get Out the Vote” (GOTV) campaign in Georgia.

The campaign includes grassroots outreach and data-driven digital ads.

Grassroots outreach to a targeted base of 1.5 million Christians in Georgia, including:

Data-Driven digital ads, including:

  • Targeting a series of digital ads to all devices at Christian homes
  • Sending digital ads to mobile phones of Christian voters
  • Social media campaigns designed to motivate and equip Georgia voters
  • TV and Radio Public Service Announcements
  • Development and distribution of Voter Guides and election resources
  • State-wide prayer events and rallies

We are working with national Christian influencers and leaders in Georgia to ensure Christians understand the importance of their civic engagement and are prepared to vote. Your support and prayers will make a difference in these efforts.

Yet, even after January 5, our efforts will continue no matter the election outcome.

Founding Father John Quincy Adams once said, “Duty is ours, results are God’s.”

We are praying faithfully for our country and we encourage you to do the same. We are working together to think biblically about every issue that arises, and then we will vote in every election. This means we will not only vote in presidential election years, but we will also cast our votes in school board races, run-off elections, and every election where we are eligible to vote.

We will continue to provide you with information weekly through the Intersect that helps you think about current events from a biblical perspective. And we will continue to provide relevant resources like our A Biblical View of Socialism that you can use and share with others.

Our Call to Prayer

Our newly elected leaders will also need your prayer.

1 Timothy 2:1-5; 8 says, “I urge, then, first of all, that requests, prayers, intercession, and thanksgiving be made for everyone - for kinds, and all those in authority, that we may live peaceful and quiet lives in all godliness and holiness. This is good and pleases God our Savior, who wants all men to be saved and to come to a knowledge of the truth. For there is one God and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus…I want men everywhere to lift up holy hands in prayer, without anger or disputing.”

We encourage you to download and print our government prayer guide for three simple points to help you pray for your newly elected leaders.

If we want our representatives to protect religious freedom, human life, and our Constitution, it will require us to engage in prayer for them faithfully.

Leadership at the Local Level

Christian leadership must begin at the local level. You are best equipped to ensure biblical values are protected by your school board and your city council. If we don’t get involved at the local level, who will represent your values?

It’s up to Christians to stand firm and stand watch. In the months ahead, we will be providing you with resources and materials to help you make a difference in your community.

Each one of us has a vital role to play in the civic process. Your voice and your leadership are needed in your community like never before.

Be on the lookout in the months ahead for the resources we will send you, and get ready to roll-up your sleeves and do your part to make a difference right where God has placed you.

In the meantime, please continue to stand with us in prayer and through your partnership to do all we can in Georgia for faith, family, and freedom.
