My Faith Votes: ‘People of faith in North Dakota took Jesus’ words to heart this week by voting no on Measure 2’

DALLASJason Yates, CEO of My Faith Votes released the following statement in response to voter turnout in North Dakota and the rejection of Measure 2:

“In Matthew 18:6, Jesus said, ‘Whoever causes one of these little ones who believe in Me to sin, it would be better for him if a millstone were hung around his neck, and he were drowned in the depth of the sea.’ People of faith in North Dakota took that admonition to heart this week by voting no on Measure 2. We are praising God, knowing that this outcome will save our youth population from marijuana’s devastating effects.”

My Faith Votes sent letters to nearly 113,000 pastors in all 50 states, outlining key ballot issues in their states and providing educational resources for speaking to their congregations on these topics.
