DALLAS — My Faith Votes announced today a partnership with K-LOVE to have Dr. Ben Carson honor combat wounded veterans and gold star families during the K-LOVE Fan Awards, May 28.
Dr. Ben Carson, who was the founding honorary national chairman of My Faith Votes, will deliver a special message via a recorded video at the fan awards, thanking our nation’s veterans and their families for their sacrifice and service. K-LOVE, in partnership with Military Warriors Support Foundation, has been working with fans and supporters to provide homes for veterans and the families of wounded soldiers.
“My Faith Votes is proud to play a unique role in this year’s K-LOVE Fan Awards, helping to honor our nation’s combat wounded veterans and gold star families through the voice and influence of our Founding Honorary Chairman, Dr. Ben Carson,” said Jason Yates, My Faith Votes CEO. “No one deserves more honor than the men and women—including their families—who have fought for and sacrificed so much for our freedom.”
“We are blessed to work with K-LOVE on this special night,” Yates added. “As an organization, K-LOVE has not only charted a successful path in the complex and competitive world of media but also distinguished itself for its commitment to always have a positive and uplifting impact in people’s lives.”
“Honoring our nation’s wounded veterans and their families is at the very heart of our founding mission, which is to do work that’s positive and encouraging,” said John Sanders, K-LOVE Fan Awards Executive Producer. “We thank Dr. Carson for joining us at the Fan Awards, and for giving his voice to this important cause.”
At the awards, My Faith Votes will also launch a new fan campaign in preparation for the coming of Kirk Cameron’s Revive Us 2. The campaign will include a giveaway, where My Faith Votes will send a winner and their guest to join Kirk Cameron on the set of this fantastic event.
The K-LOVE Fan Awards will be held in Nashville, Tennessee at the historic Grand Ole Opry House, May 26-28. Matthew West and Elisabeth Hasselbeck will host the event, which is the only fan-voted award show in Christian entertainment.
