My Faith Votes Applauds HHS Decision to Discontinue Use of Fetal Tissue from Abortions for Research
DALLAS — Jason Yates, CEO of My Faith Votes, issues the following statement following the announcement by HHS that human fetal tissue obtained from elective abortions will no longer be used in research conducted by the National Institutes of Health (NIH):
“Donald Trump has been unequivocally committed to recognizing the inherent worth of every human life and we applaud his administration’s action to protect the dignity of aborted babies from having their bodies exploited for medical research projects. Simultaneously, the move by HHS to explore viable and moral alternatives to the use of human fetal tissue in HHS-funded medical research is welcome and necessary to ensure life-saving progress on medical breakthroughs continues.”
