The Greatest Gift

This week's focus: Rejoice

“For a child will be born to us, a son will be given to us; And the government will rest on His shoulders; And His name will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Eternal Father, Prince of Peace.” - Isaiah 9:6

Today, let us rejoice and celebrate that we have been given the greatest gift of all—God Himself. He is our Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Eternal Father, Prince of Peace, and so much more. As we celebrate His birth, may we never lose the wonder and awe that our Savior is also:

But the angel said to them, “Do not be afraid. I bring you good news that will cause great joy for all the people. Today in the town of David a Savior has been born to you; He is the Messiah, the Lord. This will be a sign to you: You will find a baby wrapped in cloths and lying in a manger.”
