This week's focus: Allegiance
Allegiance is defined as:
- devotion or loyalty to a person, group, or cause
Lord, I thank you today for your allegiance to me— your eternal loyalty to love and lead me. I pray today that you would mold my heart in perfect allegiance to you. I pray that during this election year, you would consistently remind your people in America that our allegiance is to you alone. Make our hearts loyal to you, and may our participation in the political process flow out of our response to you.

Psalm 100:1-5 (NIV)
"Shout for joy to the Lord, all the earth.
Worship the Lord with gladness;
come before him with joyful songs.
Know that the Lord is God.
It is he who made us, and we are his;
we are his people, the sheep of his pasture.
Enter his gates with thanksgiving
and his courts with praise;
give thanks to him and praise his name.
For the Lord is good and his love endures forever;
his faithfulness continues through all generations."
Prayer Points:
- Pray for the Middle East region as tensions continue to rise. Pray for President Trump and his administration, for supernatural wisdom in handling Iran. Pray for our troops and US embassies, asking God’s protection over them.
- January is the month for Human Trafficking Awareness, a problem reaching epidemic levels. “O God, when we hear of children and adults deceived and taken to unknown places for purposes of sexual exploitation, forced labor, and organ ‘harvesting,’ our hearts are saddened and our spirits angry that their dignity and rights are ignored through threats, lies, and force. We cry out against the evil practice of this modern slavery. Give us wisdom and courage to reach out and stand with those whose bodies, hearts and spirits have been so wounded, so that together we may make known your promises to fill these sisters and brothers with a love that is tender and good. Send the exploiters away empty-handed to be converted from this wickedness and help us all to claim the freedom that comes from you. In the name of Jesus, amen.”
We want to see God honored in America, and we pray for an unprecedented spiritual awakening.
