On the 46th anniversary of Roe v. Wade, My Faith Votes gathered alongside hundreds of thousands of pro-life supporters in Washington DC to stand for life. We marched down Constitution Avenue to the steps of the Supreme Court armed with a new approach to the anti-abortion movement -- pro-life is pro-science.
In politics, we hear comparisons between the haves and the have-nots. The wealthy and the poor. The one percent and the lower class. We’ve listened to the calls for wealth redistribution, free college and Medicare for all. And this rhetoric will only continue to increase with 2020 right around the corner.
At My Faith Votes, we encourage you to do three simple things: PRAY, THINK, and ACT. It’s a formula for everyday life, not just for voting. As an opportunity arises, we seek the Lord in prayer, we consult with scripture to follow God’s principles, and then we take action on the opportunity before us, allowing the influence of our faith to be a source for good to those around us.
