Talarico Minister Says Jesus Didn’t Die for Our Sins
"A minister at the Austin church of Texas Democratic Senate nominee James Talarico was caught on hidden camera rejecting some of the most basic teachings of the Christian faith. In footage obtained by The Daily Wire, the Rev. Babs Miller said Jesus did not die for the sins of the world. She also called the virgin birth a pagan myth and questioned whether Jesus ever existed." - Talarico speaks about his faith often on the campaign trail, and he has not said he shares Miller's views. But this is not the first video from his home church. His longtime pastor has questioned the resurrection and told atheists they are "on the same team." When a candidate makes faith part of his public pitch, voters have every right to ask what that faith actually teaches.
- Article VI of the Constitution says no religious test shall ever be required for public office. That rule limits the government, not the voter. Every citizen is free to weigh a candidate's beliefs. Asking hard questions is responsible citizenship.
- The cross is not a side issue. Paul wrote, "For I delivered to you first of all that which I also received: that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures" (1 Corinthians 15:3). A church that denies the atonement has lost the heart of the Gospel. Believers must know the truth well enough to spot false teaching.
PRAY.
Lord Jesus, thank You for going to the cross for our sins. We pray for St. Andrew's and for every church that has drifted from Your Word. Open eyes to the truth of the Gospel, and raise up shepherds who will preach Christ crucified and risen. Give the voters of Texas wisdom and discernment. Amen.

Feds Ramp Up Voter Fraud Cases Ahead of Midterms
"The Trump administration is stepping up its fight against election crimes with less than six weeks to go before the 2026 midterm elections. - Supporters of the SAVE America Act say these cases show why proof of citizenship should be required to register to vote. The bill remains stalled in the Senate because of a Democratic filibuster, even though a Pew Research Center survey found 83 percent of Americans support photo ID to vote.
- The Constitution gives states the power to run elections and lets Congress set rules for federal races (Article I, Section 4). Federal law allows only citizens to vote in those races, and every illegal ballot cancels out the vote of a lawful citizen. The Utah case shows that when most voters rely on mail, every ballot's security matters.
- "Dishonest scales are an abomination to the Lord, but a just weight is His delight" (Proverbs 11:1). God cares about honest measures, and a fair election is one of the most important measures a free people has. Christians should insist on integrity because truth matters to God.
PRAY.
Father, we ask You to protect the integrity of our elections. Give wisdom to the investigators, prosecutors, and election workers who guard every ballot. Expose deception and bring justice with fairness. Amen.
ACT.
Check your voter registration and make sure your information is current. Call your U.S. senators and urge them to pass the SAVE America Act. Consider serving as a poll worker in your community.
Obamacare Fraud Crackdown Removes 760,000 Enrollees
"The Trump administration is removing about 760,000 people from Affordable Care Act coverage after a federal review uncovered widespread enrollment fraud. Vice President JD Vance announced the Obamacare fraud crackdown Tuesday at the White House, saying it will save taxpayers an estimated $2.2 billion." Read more at Million Voices...

- Officials say much of the fraud traced back to brokers who earn a commission for each person they sign up. One ring of 40 brokers funneled 50,000 people into the system. When rules reward volume over honesty, fraud follows. The broker freeze and new Social Security number requirement close that door.
- The Constitution directs the President to "take Care that the Laws be faithfully executed" (Article II, Section 3). That duty includes making sure tax dollars go only to people who truly qualify. Paying for coverage for people who may not exist is a failure of basic oversight.
- "Moreover, it is required in stewards that one be found faithful" (1 Corinthians 4:2). Fraud does not only steal from taxpayers. It steals from the struggling families these programs were built to serve. Guarding public money is one way we love our neighbor.

Lord, thank You for leaders willing to root out fraud. Give them wisdom to protect honest families who rely on this help while stopping those who cheat the system. Amen.

Log in to your own health plan account and confirm your information is accurate. If you suspect health care fraud, report it to the proper authorities. Ask your representatives to support strong identity checks for every federal benefit program.
The Hidden Surveillance System Inside Your Child’s School

- These tools are sold as safety measures, yet no independent research has confirmed they reduce suicide or violence. Meanwhile, some systems have flagged students for reading the Book of Genesis on Bible.com. That should concern every Christian parent.
- The Fourth Amendment protects against unreasonable searches, and public schools are government bodies. Yet federal privacy law does not require parental consent before schools install this software. The Supreme Court declared a century ago that "the child is not the mere creature of the State" (Pierce v. Society of Sisters, 1925). Parents, not vendors or school boards, hold the first responsibility for their children.
- God gave parents the charge to guide their children's hearts. "You shall teach them diligently to your children, and shall talk of them when you sit in your house" (Deuteronomy 6:7). That calling cannot be handed off to an algorithm that scores children in secret.
PRAY.
Heavenly Father, we lift up the children in our schools. Guard their minds, their hearts, and their privacy. Give parents courage to ask hard questions and give school leaders humility to listen. Amen.
ACT.
Ask your school district for a copy of any contract with a student monitoring vendor. Speak up at your local school board meeting, and if you choose, submit a written request to opt your child out of school-issued devices.
