- This race is a massive wake-up call to voters and people in Texas. People are clearly tired of the same old political stories and votes. They demand something new for their state.
- President Trump clearly has significant influence on the GOP. His endorsements across the nation have not only been winning, but winning by very large margins. Paxton’s victory is a statement that screams across the nation, resonating with millions of voters.
- Voters are paying attention more than we are led to believe. While Cornyn served for decades, this race displays how engaged the voters really are. As the mid-terms approach, this will become an interesting play for political pundits to watch and observe.
PRAY.
God, give voters the inspiration they need to get out and vote in the November election. Stir their hearts to recognize their mandate to steward their government well by selecting good candidates who wish nothing but the best for their state.

Pay attention to the election in November. There is a lot at stake. The mid-terms will define the progress of the White House for the remaining two years of Trump’s term in office. When voters are equipped with information, they make more informed choices.

- Holding hospitals and doctors accountable for unlawful medical procedures on minors is biblical justice in motion. When leaders enforce what is right, it sends a powerful message that protecting the next generation is non-negotiable. We must stop systems that profit from the pain and confusion of vulnerable youth.

Be active in your community. Know who is running and pick candidates who align with biblical values. Do not simply rely on endorsements; look up the information on the candidates and make sure you understand their policy positions.
Safety Concerns Halt Long Beach Pride Festival

- God does work in mysterious ways. While the reasons for halting the Pride festival were not the right intention, it is good that the event was halted nevertheless. American tax dollars are being used to host these events, which promote immorality and wrongdoing; actions that do not reflect biblical values.
- Though the event was canceled, it will likely be rescheduled. Culturally, these events are becoming more unpopular. People are getting tired of seeing these LGBTQ events being pushed into the public's eye. Could this recent cancellation be a sign of the downtrend of pride events? Only He knows.
- Pride events are entirely based on perverse ideology. America's Founding Fathers would have never supported this. These events almost assuredly would not have passed constitutional muster to be displayed on our streets, as they would have been seen as a "constitutionally absurd."
PRAY.
Lord, bless our nation. Forgive us for embracing sexual sin and promoting it. Father God, give us Your heart and show us what pleases You. Remove from us the burden of sin and restore our streets and festivals with dignity, righteousness, and Your presence.
ACT.
If you have a pride event happening in your area, you are encouraged to petition your local government to cease the festival. On the basis of decency alone, there is ground for halting such events. The reason this is not seen happening, however, is that few people take a stand.
