Op-ed Details How Church Participation By Gen Z, Millennial Males Is Fueling Revival

An op-ed written by Stephen Cutchins and published by the Christian Post in early May details how Gen Z and Millennial males are fueling the revival movement sweeping America. Read more at Million Voices.

THINK.

  • “Behind the noise of a divided culture, something powerful is happening,” Stephen Cutchins writes in his opening lines. “Behind the noise, a revival is stirring.”
  • Most media outlets would lead you to believe that Churches are closing and trust in religious institutions are “crumbling,” but obviously, as we all know, the opposite could not be more true.
  • He goes on to reference Barna’s State of the Church 2025, which found that 66 percent of U.S. adults have made a personal commitment to Christ and that relationship is still important in their life, which represents a 12% increase since 2021.
  • “In just four years, approximately 30 million more Americans have chosen to follow Jesus,” Cutchins noted. “Even more striking, it’s Gen Z and millennials — the very generations often accused of abandoning faith — who are fueling this resurgence. Gen Z men have experienced a 15-point increase in commitment since 2019, while Millennial men have surged by 19 points.”

PRAY.

Dear God, we pray You continue to welcome billions of young people, all over the world, into Your light. We pray every day that we can share in Your love with every neighbor, every stranger, that You are our one uniting truth. We reject all darkness In Your Name, Lord, and promise to act upon our purpose of bringing every soul into your Light. Amen.

ACT.

You can’t talk to young people about God the same way our parents, grandparents, pastor and friends talked to most of us back in our day. Kids want culture, they want power; they’re hungry for a movement to connect with that speaks to their heart. There is no better thing than the love of Christ, so learning how to engage young people in their faith is a key part of our Great American Revival. Stay tuned as we bring you more news on this, and how to get involved!

Christian Rapper Wins Big Mainstream Success For 2nd Year In A Row

Christian rapper nobigdyl was named Fan Favorite for NPR's Tiny Desk Contest for the second year in a row, beating out thousands of artists from across the U.S. Read more at Million Voices.

THINK.

  • Dylan Phillips, 33, known by the name nobigdyl, won the major mainstream award for his performance of “imago interlude,” a song from his 2024 album.
  • The song is centered on “themes of personal transformation and spiritual identity, resonated with voters amid a record-breaking 7,500 entries submitted to this year’s contest,” wrote one outlet.
  • “I chose this song because I believe in the message and the power of music to change us,” the artist said in a social media post.
  • As revival continues to spread across the United States and worldwide, we are encouraged by the number of young people coming to know the Lord and outwardly expressing their faith! Social media is full of new believers giving their heart-felt testimonies and sharing their remarkable encounters with the Holy Spirit.
  • This is refreshing, especially given that Gen Z has gotten such a bad rap in the news and on social media in recent years. Among other things, Gen Z has been characterized as the generation that no longer has faith in God or a biblical worldview. But WE know differently! Our younger generations hunger for something the world cannot offer and are open to learning what God has for them.

PRAY.

Dear Heavenly Father, thank you for yet another big win for our Great American Revival. As this religious revolution continues, we hope to see even more of Your word and works hit what so many have mistakenly called the “mainstream.” If anything, Lord, you are the most mainstream thing to ever exist, and we Thank You for this incredible boost in our confidence in this ever-chaotic world. Every time You win, we win with you, and that is one of the greatest joys of our human experience. Thank You. Amen.

ACT.

Perhaps we’re not being loud enough when we say: THE CHRISTIAN REVOLUTION IS HERE! And it is being televised! Christian entertainment is skyrocketing in success, and has been for several years. Isn’t it funny (not ha-ha) how right as we were being locked in our homes during the COVID-19 pandemic, Christ decided to ignite something within the collective consciousness of America (and the rest of the world), and seriously start to speed up the number of souls He’s saved? We want to hear your stories of salvation from the last few years for a series we’re hoping to launch with one of our publishing partners. Health Care Workers May Soon Experience Religious Freedom In One State

Texas Senate Bill 619, sponsored by Rep. Tom Oliverson and Sen. Kevin Sparks, passed through the Senate in May and is now before the House committee. Read more at Poll2Action.

THINK.

  • The bill was authored by Sen. Bryan Hughes, and would allow healthcare professionals to refuse to provide certain services to individual patients based on "severely held moral convictions," according to the Dallas Voice.
  • The bill defines "conscience" as anything related to faith, moral philosophy, and other ethical provisions, allowing healthcare workers to practice religious freedoms while at work for the first time in recent history.
  • Some are concerned the bill would endanger the lives of Texans, there are nuanced exceptions in the language.
  • These exceptions include emergency care and other life-threatening and life-sustaining treatments.
  • “A physician or health care provider may not be held civilly or criminally liable because the physician or health care provider declines to participate in a health care service wholly or partly for reasons of conscience,” the bill reads, adding that any institution that engages in the training of medical professionals must also respect these situations.

PRAY.

Dear God, we pray for a massive change in the way American healthcare operates today. We pray that profits are no longer placed above healing. We pray hearts and minds are healing, and You guide our healthcare professionals to focus on healing all illness, and not the perpetuation of diseases and disorders in the name of financial gain. Lord, please show us how to live in greater symbiosis with your natural world, as we know everything we need is already here. We pray for all those suffering, and all those you’ve called to heal them. Show us what else we can do. Amen.

ACT.

Laws are weird. At any given time, there are hundreds, if not thousands of bills up for consideration – from the local, all the way up through the state, to federal levels of government. Some of these bills are rushed through the legislative process, while others lay motionless for years. Wouldn’t it be great if We The People could read all of these bills before they’re voted on? Every time a politician, or any type of elected official, votes on a law, they’re using YOUR voice to change the way we live. Wouldn’t YOU prefer to use your voice? Pastors Must 'Make It Clear To Our People' That Anti-Parent Transgender Laws Come From 'One Political Party'

Lakepointe Church's Josh Howerton shared a powerful message on social media in early May that may divide some Christians when it comes to their political affiliations. Read more at Million Voices.

THINK.

  • Colorado's legislature passed HB25-1312, a bill that Republican lawmakers recently said was a stealth means of declaring war on parents. The bill would define all Colorado parents who refuse to enable their children's mental illness around gender as "child abusers."
  • Schools will now be forced to adopt "transition" policies, and anyone caught "misgendering" or "deadnaming" will be brandished with the label of "discrimination."
  • The law also allows parents to "traffic" their children into the state of Colorado to undergo genital mutilation surgery.
  • “As uncomfortable as it is and as awkward as it may feel, it is increasingly incumbent upon pastors to find ways to make clear to our people that legislation like this (that would strip Christian parents of their children for failing to affirm a transgender identity) currently only comes from one political party
  • “It is not 1993 when the two parties generally agreed upon the destination, but disagreed on how to get there. The two parties are now vying for fundamentally opposed moral universes, and to pretend this is not the case is to run a 1996 play in a 2025 world,” Howerton wrote on X.

PRAY.

Father God, Your name is glorified today! We come to You with a burden for our members of Congress and the job that lies before them. We ask that You give them the discerning wisdom that only You can provide, setting them on the right path and giving them clarity, courage, and commitment to justice. We pray for unity, allowing them to work alongside one another for the best interest of our nation. May they be people of integrity and honesty in the tasks they have been given to carry out. We lift each one to You, Lord, for Your divine protection in these turbulent days. In the mighty name of Jesus, we pray, Amen!

ACT.

Your Sunday service doesn’t have to be political, but your day-to-day life outside of His four walls will always be dictated — in large part — by your elected officials. Ignorance of politics is like handing over control of your life to the greediest, most power-hungry serpent in the room. When we Use Our Voice, we bring a more Biblical worldview to our nation. Do you know your pastor's political beliefs? Take the time to learn about them today, and how your church plans to protect our religious freedoms as we continue moving through this Great American Revival.

My Faith Votes— is a ministry that motivates, equips, and activates Christians in America to vote in every election, transforming our communities and influencing our nation with biblical truth. An estimated 25 million Christians who are registered to vote, fail to vote in presidential elections. My Faith Votes is on a mission to change this statistic by helping Christians act on their faith and vote in every election. When we pray unceasingly for our nation, think biblically about the issues, and vote consistently in every election the impact of Christians taking action from the local to the state and federal level will be unprecedented.
