- You'd be hard pushed not to enjoy a conversation with Sen. Phil King. Unlike a majority of lawmakers, he answers his phone on the second ring, and speaks with an authority that is humble, charming, and pretty hard to debate.
- He and his colleagues should be out celebrating their back-to-back wins for religious freedoms across Texas – instead, he and so many others are fighting to educate their constituents, and the rest of the country, on the importance of bringing the Ten Commandments back to our classrooms.
- "For 200 years, before the Stone vs. Graham case (1980) in Kentucky took the Ten Commandments out of our schools, kids were exposed to these rules. Kids were educated on how the Ten Commandments was part of Western Civilization; no other document has had such an influence or impact," King explains, and he's right.
- The first ever textbook issued in America, the New England Primer, included a detailed lesson plan on the Ten Commandments.
- “Up until around 1971, Judeo-Christian ethics and commentary existed throughout our public square, but when Lemon vs. Kurtzman was written by the Supreme Court, it established the 'Lemon Test,' that forced people to check a load of boxes before getting any type of Christianity into our public square.”
- "In 2022, the Supreme Court struck down the Lemon test in the Kennedy vs. Bremerton case, but we've still got all this bad case law throughout the country built upon this bad ruling. I call it the Ghost of Lemon," King continues, giving me a phrase I immediately steal to share with you, our wonderful readers and members.

BONUS: Ten Commandments, Gold & Silver Bills Among 600 Signed By Gov. Abbott
Texas Gov. Greg Abbott signed more than 300 important bills into law Saturday, just one day before the 2025 legislative session deadline, bringing his total to more than 600 bills during the 89th Session. Read more at Million Voices.

- Senate Bill 10, better known as the Ten Commandments law, was signed by Abbott on Saturday, signaling yet another massive win for religious freedom throughout Texas.
- House Bill 1056, sponsored by Sen. Bryan Hughes, allowing for gold and silver to once again be used as a type of transactional currency. The bill comes more than 50 years after Texas abandoned the gold standard, but follows states such as Utah, Louisiana, Oklahoma, Missouri and Arkansas in exploring ways to bring back the use of gold and silver for everyday transactions.
- Senate Bill 33 further bans cities and other local governments from using any taxpayer dollars to fund out-of-state abortions or access to abortions.
- Abbott also moved to protect the rights of victims of various types of crime by signing House Bills 2355, 2492, and Senate Bill 761.
- Crime victims will now have more streamlined access to law enforcement records, be granted expanded rights, especially in the case of sexual assault.
- House Bill 2492 also mandates that individuals arrested for certain family violence offenses be held for four hours after posting bond -- and also allows magistrates to hold alleged perpetrators for

We now understand what can be achieved when we work together for Your purpose. As we have seen in other states like Arkansas, Your light will shine upon us all through our legal system. You have many voices speaking to you Sir, but there is only ONE voice that matters. HIS voice," Huckabee wrote in a text message to Trump, shared on TruthSocial.
- "I am your appointed servant in this land and am available for you but I do not try to get in your presence often because I trust your instincts.
- “No President in my lifetime has been in a position like yours. Not since Truman in 1945. I don't reach out to persuade you. Only to encourage you.
- “I believe you will hear from heaven and that voice is far more important than mine or ANYONE else's.”
- Shortly after sharing the incredibly moving message from Huckabee, Trump alerted social media to the fact that ally states now have “complete and total control of the skies over Iran.”

Dear Father God, we pray for the protection of Israel. We pray for all those who defend Your interests and purpose, and we stand firm in our defense of Israel. Thank You for putting us in a position of strength and power to be your warriors here on Earth, fighting to keep your light shining upon each and every soul. We pray for the protection of Ambassador Huckabee, as we pray for the protection of all those who stand with You. Trump's Operation Midnight Hammer: EXPLAINED

- " Last night, on President Trump's orders, U.S. Central Command conducted a precision strike in the middle of the night against three nuclear facilities in Iran Fordow, Natanz and Isfahan in order to destroy or severely degrade Iran's nuclear program," Hegseth said Sunday morning from within the Pentagon, according to Fox News.
- "It was an incredible and overwhelming success," he added. "The order we received from our commander in chief was focused. It was powerful, and it was clear we devastated the Iranian nuclear program. But it's worth noting the operation did not target Iranian troops or the Iranian people for the entirety of his time in office."
- Iran has long promised to never enrich uranium and is technically not allowed to develop nuclear weapons as the leaders of the nation signed the Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty.
- There are deep and well-founded concerns that were Iran to enrich uranium and other nuclear materials to create atomic weapons, those weapons would then be used against anyone Iranian leaders and military personnel deemed an enemy -- which includes the U.S.

We pray for each and every member of our military as tensions rise between the U.S. and those who wish to see us destroyed. Please bring every single enemy of America and Israel into your light.
