Florida Takes a Stand Against CAIR and Terrorism
"This week, Florida Governor Ron DeSantis took a bold stand for the security and values of our nation. Announcing, effective immediately, that the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) is now officially designated as a terrorist organization, he made it crystal clear that leadership matters." THINK.
- Academic institutions are often funded by taxpayers to foster open inquiry, yet incidents like this reveal a pattern of ideological conformity that punishes dissent. We must ask if our universities are still marketplaces of ideas or if they have become factories for indoctrination.
- The Bible is clear in Genesis 1:27 regarding God's design for humanity as male and female. When believers are penalized for stating this truth, it is not just a policy violation; it is an attempt to suppress the testimony of God's creation in the public square.
- Courage is contagious. When one student stands firm against institutional pressure, it emboldens others to do the same. We must decide if we are willing to risk our social standing or grades to speak the truth in love, rather than bowing to cultural pressure.
PRAY.
Jesus, protect our people, our citizens. Give our leaders the discretion they need to make good decisions on behalf of the people. Surround our states and our nation with Your hand of protection.
ACT.
Take intentional steps to support those who are facing challenges for their faith. Write letters of encouragement, start conversations to spread awareness, or advocate for policies that protect freedom of expression. Be vigilant in standing firm, show kindness to those who disagree, and always speak truth in love. Now is the time to act. Our voices matter more than ever.
Supreme Court Considers Limits of Presidential Power
"The Supreme Court is currently deliberating on a case with the potential to reshape the balance of power within the U.S. government. The case, Trump v. Slaughter, centers on the president’s authority to remove the heads of independent federal agencies without cause. This legal battle stems from President Donald Trump’s firing of Federal Trade Commission (FTC) member Rebecca Slaughter, a move that challenges nearly a century of established legal precedent and forces a direct examination of the president’s executive power." THINK.
- The Supreme Court is weighing a case that could dramatically shift the balance of power, questioning whether the president can remove independent federal agency heads at will. Keeping in mind, the chief executive (president) has historically been permitted to execute the power of the executive office to ensure the laws are enforced.
- The justices’ debate exposes a battle over the very heart of the executive branch: Will unelected bureaucrats or elected leaders be the stewards of national policy? It is up the the Supreme Court to interpret the Constitution, but it should be according to original intent jurisprudence, as the founding fathers intended.
- The outcome could either uphold longstanding checks or unleash sweeping presidential power, making this ruling pivotal for every American concerned about liberty, government overreach, and who ultimately answers to the people.
PRAY.
God, give America's justices the wisdom they need to interpret our founding document, and the supreme law, the way it should be interpreted and understood. Stir their minds to make the right decision that will set our nation's highest office on a course for the common good.
ACT.
Now is the time to take a stand. Contact your representatives and urge them to uphold constitutional principles and protect the balance of power. Share information about this critical issue with your community to raise awareness and encourage engagement. Write letters, make phone calls, and support organizations fighting to preserve our liberties. Every action counts; be the voice that demands accountability and ensures that power remains in the hands of the people.
A World in Crisis: The Urgent Call for Spiritual Reformation
"Recent days have seen a disturbing surge in global violence. A horrific terror attack at a Hanukkah celebration in Australia and a deadly shooting on the campus of Brown University have made headlines, signaling a wave of chaos that is challenging communities worldwide. These incidents are not isolated; rather, they point to a profound and urgent spiritual crisis beneath the surface." Read more at Million Voices...
THINK.
- The surge in global violence, from terror attacks in Australia to shootings at home, reveals a spiritual crisis that goes deeper than politics or headlines. Only God’s truth can fill the void and bring healing to a broken world.
- When a society abandons its moral and spiritual foundations, chaos and division rush in. The Church cannot remain silent; we are called to boldly stand against evil, speak truth, and offer compassion to the suffering.
- The way forward is radical spiritual awakening: united prayer, repentance, and courageous action. Now is the moment for believers to rise up, become beacons of hope, and refuse to settle for passive Christianity.
PRAY.
Jesus, place Your hand on Your church around the world. Protect those in danger across the world, in every country. Protect those who are innocent from the hand of those who wish to do harm. May Your glory shine around the world by Your mighty hand.
ACT.
Stand boldly in faith and take steps toward change. Reach out to those in need, support ministries on the frontlines, and be a voice for the voiceless. Your actions, no matter how small, can transform lives and advance God’s kingdom.
Parents Sue After Daughter Forced to Share Bed with Transgender Student
"Two years ago, Colorado parents were outraged when their daughter’s school initially forced their daughter to not only sleep in the same room, but in the same bed with a student who claims to be transgender, while on a school trip to D.C. Two years later, the parents are suing the school." Read more at Million Voices...
THINK.
- God established governing authorities to protect the good and punish evil (Romans 13). When our legal system forsakes its sacred duty, allowing policies that erode parental rights and place children at risk, it betrays the trust God placed in civil rulers to defend the innocent and promote justice.
- The legal battle in Colorado is a direct response to the failure of schools and districts to honor this divine mandate. Instead of shielding children and upholding family values, radical ideology has overridden consent and compromised the safety and privacy of girls, exposing a crisis that demands righteous laws.
- As believers, we are called to advocate for laws and policies that reflect God’s standard of justice and righteousness. We must not stand by while evil is called good; instead, we must use our voices to defend families, uphold God’s order, and demand protection for the most vulnerable in our society.
PRAY.
Lord, guide the parents in our nation. Give them discernment and wisdom in the lives of their children. Protect American children from the evil trans ideology and replace it with Your love and mercy.
ACT.
Now is the time to take a stand with unwavering conviction. Contact your local representatives and demand action that prioritizes the protection of children and upholds family values. Rally your community, share the truth boldly, and refuse to be silent in the face of injustice. Together, we can make a difference.
