God’s Big Return To Classrooms Could Happen In 2025
“A series of bills across multiple states could see God’s Word returned to classroom walls across the U.S. in 2025.” Read more at Million Voices.
THINK.
- States including Arkansas, South Dakota, North Dakota, Montana, Tennessee, Oklahoma and more are all poised to vote on whether the Ten Commandments is displayed in every public school classroom and its history taught as part of the local curriculum in 2025, with Arkansas looking to become the next. The bills typically require the words to be displayed as a poster-sized printout, accompanied by a context statement explaining the importance of these words in building America and our legal system.
- Lemon Test. You might think that America dictates a strict separation of church and state, but this is untrue. It is also not legal. In June 2022, the U.S. Supreme Court overturned a short-held ruling known colloquially as the “Lemon Test,” created by the court in 1971 that sought to eliminate religion from public life, per ADF. Prior to this ruling, religious education and confluence with public life was the norm in America from at least 1690.
- New England Primer. Published in 1690 by Benjamin Harris, the first purely American educational textbook included an in-depth section on the importance of the Ten Commandments. Similar materials were included in our curricula until around the 1980s, meaning we’ve only stopped teaching its importance for roughly 45 years.
PRAY.
Father, we pray that our lawmakers move swiftly to reintroduce the value of the Ten Commandments back to our public education system. We know we are going through great changes in this country, so we ask that You work through us to ensure a steady momentum into our new reality. We pray everything that happens next glorifies You. In Jesus name, Amen.
ACT.

‘They’ve Declared War On Parents’: State Rep. Sounds Major Alarm After Sunday Shocker
Colorado State Rep. Brandi Bradley shared a shocking post on X, Sunday (April 6) regarding a last-minute session to “ram” seemingly anti-parent bills through the state legislature. “The Colorado Legislature has been called into session today—on the LORDS day—to ram through abortion bills and HB25-1312, the most extreme assault on parental rights and religious freedom we’ve ever seen,” Bradley wrote on X. “If it’s a war on families they want… it’s a war they’re gonna get.” Read more at Million Voices.
THINK.
- Colorado’s legislature fast-tracked a bill on Sunday that defines “misgendering” as a form of child abuse, meaning “parents could lose custody for using the ‘wrong’ pronouns,” Bradley noted. It is unclear how the language of this bill can be applied in the context of the First Amendment, but Colorado lawmakers are pushing for it anyway.
- CO Rep. Jarvis Caldwell joined Newsmax’s Todd Starnes to discuss the bill, noting “HB25-1312 says if you ‘deadname’ or misgender your kids then you’re abusing them…and there’s just no way to treat a child in this situation unless the treatment is affirming their gender delusions.”
- “Every citizen, regardless of their view, needs to stand against this government violation of the family.” wrote parental rights advocate and filmmaker Deborah Flora.
- New Covenant Church pastor J.N. Helvoigt wrote on April 3 that the bill “is a manifesto for taking children from conservative parents and obliterating Christian institutions. The house votes again tomorrow. Call and ask them why its so important that little girls not be able to conceive. Why they want little boys free to put on dresses.”
PRAY.
Father God, we lift up the state of Colorado and its lawmakers who are making decisions that impact our children, families, and parental rights. In the name of Jesus, we ask that You break down every wall and bring believers together to stand against spiritual warfare and the spirit of confusion affecting so many. Amen.
ACT.
There are countless ways the Bible calls upon us to protect children. One verse that seems to stick out in this context is Matthew 18:6: “But whoever causes one of these little ones who believe in me to sin, it would be better for him to have a great millstone fastened around his neck and to be drowned in the depth of the sea.”
April Starts With Heightened International Tensions From China And Russia
Reports published in early April revealed that China is stepping up its drills near Taiwan while getting antsy about ownership of the Panama Canal, and Germany is preparing for war against Russia. Will this be the month of international chaos, or are these stories a whole bunch of nothing? Read more at Million Voices.
THINK.
- What is China doing? China started holding more frequent military exercises around Taiwan in late March. It’s said this is to deter “separatist forces” on the island, but the timing is suspect.
- Where does the U.S. stand on Taiwan? The U.S. promised to deter China’s expansion into Taiwan. But this may have more to do with Panama than Taiwan. In early March, BlackRock Inc. secured ownership of a number of key ports near the Panama Canal, blocking Chinese-linked influence. The move is seen as a proxy means of the U.S. taking control of the more than 43 ports across 23 countries, including some in “Mexico, the Netherlands, Egypt, Australia, Pakistan, and Panama’s critical ports of Balboa and Cristobal—the two primary gateways to the Panama Canal,” the Gateway Pundit reported.
- Where does Russia fit into all this? German officials are apparently preparing for war, presumably with Russia. Germany’s foreign minister Annaleana Baerbock told the U.S. not to “engage with [Russian President Vladimir] Putin’s stalling tactics.” Chinese foreign minister Wang Yi argued against Baerbock, arguing that progress is being made.
PRAY.
Lord, we pray for a rapid and peaceful end to the war between Russia and Ukraine. We pray for the people of both countries who just wish to live happy lives like we do here at home. Please guide our elected officials into making choices that foster peace; and end the weaponization of people for the profit of a few. Amen.
ACT.
It can sometimes feel like the rest of the world doesn’t understand modern America anymore. We’re certainly going through a deep series of changes, brought about by so much upheaval in our recent past. With huge issues like these with China, Russia, Taiwan, Panama and more, it can seem overwhelming, exhausting, and paralyzing, but it doesn’t have to be that way. Did you know if just 10 people write letters to their local and state-elected officials about the issues that matter most, that lawmaker knows they have a crisis on their hands? We’ve heard it time and time again from the politicians themselves. Are you interested in being more active in shaping your community? Find out more at MillionVoices.org.
Archaeologists Reveal Stunning Discovery Proving Biblical Battle At Armageddon Site
“Archaeologists working at an ancient site in northern Israel uncovered proof of the Biblical Battle of Megiddo from the Second Book of Kings in the Old Testament.” Read more at Million Voices.
THINK.
- Artifacts uncovered at the site, namely ancient Egyptian pottery, point toward the famed battle where the King of Judah, Josiah, fought against the army of Egyptian Pharaoh Necho II, and died in 609 B.C., according to Fox News. The site, known today as Tel Megiddo, was once a city, and has held various settlements from the Copper Age through to World War I.
- While it is largely known that the battle took place at the site, “significant quantities” of Egyptian-produced vessels, which date back to the late 7th century B.C., now prove to the world of science that the events described in the Old Testament are true. While some argue the pieces were imported to the area by trade routes, researchers like Dr. Assaf Kleiman think they were brought in with troops from Necho’s army.
- The site is also said to be indirectly referenced in the Book of Revelation. The chapter described the end times, and the Seven Bowls of God’s Wrath, ending in an almighty earthquake, hundred-pound hailstones falling from the sky, and the city being split into three parts, with “the cities of the nation collapsed” (Revelation 16:19).
PRAY.
Dear God, thank you for giving us your word. As we walk through endless tribulations during our time on Earth, we are grateful to be constantly reminded of the greatness that has come before us, and the experience we have ahead of us. In times when the world tries to turn away from You, we rejoice in every reminder that we shall not want. Amen.
ACT.
Embracing Biblical history is not only fascinating (at least to us!) but brings so many millions of people that much closer to faith. Did you know that almost all of Louisiana’s public schools are now required to teach the history of the Ten Commandments and their significance to the founding of America? There are plenty of other states looking to enact similar teachings to their curriculum. If this is something you think would benefit children and teens in your hometown, tell everyone you know that these laws are possible. “Carry each other’s burdens, and in this way you will fulfill the law of Christ.” (Galatians 6:2)
My Faith Votes— is a ministry that motivates, equips, and activates Christians in America to vote in every election, transforming our communities and influencing our nation with biblical truth. An estimated 25 million Christians who are registered to vote, fail to vote in presidential elections. My Faith Votes is on a mission to change this statistic by helping Christians act on their faith and vote in every election. When we pray unceasingly for our nation, think biblically about the issues, and vote consistently in every election the impact of Christians taking action from the local to the state and federal level will be unprecedented.
