- Reiterating the call from Justice Thomas cannot be done enough. His articulation of the inability of progressivism and the principles of the Declaration to coexist comes at arguably the most crucial moment in our nation's history. We can only hope that it is not too late to be that change.
- The symbolism in Justice Thomas should not be ignored. Supreme Court justices seldom speak in public like this. The Supreme Court is the least powerful of the three federal branches. Justices typically stay out of the fray due to their independence as a branch; one that is not elected by the people, but rather, appointed. The fact that Justice Thomas spoke speaks volumes about the importance of what he had to say.
- We can only hope that his speech did not fall on deaf ears. Rather, we ought to be that change we often claim we wish to see. Justice Thomas did all he could do, appropriately, in his position. That is all we can expect of him, and that is a lot to expect.
PRAY.
Jesus, give us the boldness we need to reform that which is broken; those very things Justice Thomas eloquently articulated. Give us a Spirit of boldness. Teach us how to be courageous; how to respond with tact and grace. Restore our nation, oh Lord.

America needs reformers. Become the leader we need. Run for office, donate to campaigns, and get involved in non-profits. Set time aside during the week to engage in efforts that will transform our nation for the better.
