Cards will begin shipping to volunteers from December 1 through December 8. They ship from Virginia and depending on where you live in the United States, you should receive them between 2 and 5 days from the date of shipment.
No, you will receive a Postcard Kit that includes the postcards, postage, and a sheet of instructions. The instructions will include messages to handwrite on your postcards
You will be emailed a printable PDF file with your assigned list of names and addresses to mail to.
500 postcards was selected because of the short time to complete this project and the cost to ship the postcards to volunteers.
All postcards should be mailed as soon as completed and no later than Friday, December 18, 2020.
On average, we find it takes about 20 hours for a single person to complete 500 postcards. With two people, it cuts in half to 10 hours, and with four people, you should be able to do them all in a single evening.
