Over 247 million Americans live in states with trifecta control. This number increased by 24 million in the last election cycle.

There are now 37 trifectas, an increase from 34 trifectas before the election. Democrat trifectas increased from 8 to 14. Republican trifectas fell from 26 to 23. The number of divided governments decreased from 16 to 13.
