Get Involved with My Faith Votes

There is no one better than you to reach your neighborhood, your friends and family, and your church community to register and vote! We can all do something to be part of creating a powerful movement of faith in action to make a difference in the public square.

Please prayerfully consider getting involved in one or more of the ways listed below:

1. Contact Your Pastor and Help Equip Your Church

Contact your Pastor and ask your church to encourage the congregation to register and vote this election season. We’ve created a message you can share directly with your Pastor. Simply click here to send an email to your Pastor with all the information to equip the congregation to be ready to vote. As a member of your church, you can play an important role in bringing this to your pastor’s attention and sharing the resources with your church.

Here’s what is important to keep in mind as you approach your pastor:

  1. We are not suggesting your church endorse a political party
  2. We are not suggesting your church support particular candidates
  3. What we are asking is that your church makes a simple announcement encouraging the congregation to pray, think and vote!

2. Share the Personal Voting Assistant with Friends and Family

We often don’t realize how many people within our own sphere of influence are not registered to vote, or don’t plan on voting. Take just a few minutes and share the My Faith Votes Personal Voting Assistant with your friends and family. And if you haven’t already signed up, make sure you do! The Personal Voting Assistant will help you register to vote, request an absentee ballot, and locate your polling place. It also provides voting reminders to make sure you and your friends and family are ready to vote this November. You can use our template to email your friends and family today and encourage them to sign up for the free Personal Voting Assistant here.

5. Commit to Pray

We are working to see faithful believers commit to prayer in all 435 congressional districts in the nation. There is nothing more powerful than spending time on our knees asking God to bless and revive this nation. Consider starting a prayer group to commit to pray between now and the elections for godly leaders to be elected. Or set aside some time in your small group or Bible study meeting to pray. We also encourage you to pray individually. It can be as simple as setting an alarm on your phone that reminds you to pray for 5 minutes a day when your alarm goes off. We’ve created a prayer guide you can download to help guide your time in prayer.
